Step-by-step guide on how to delete your personal data and close your account in the Joseph app.

1. Data Deletion Rights
Under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), you have the following rights over your personal data:
Right to Erasure
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This right applies when data is no longer necessary or you object to its processing.

You have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

You have the right to request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to request restriction of processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

2. Types of Deletable Data
The types of data we store and that you can delete in the Joseph app are as follows:
Fully Deletable Data

3. In-App Data Deletion
You can easily delete your data from within the Joseph app. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Delete Dream Data
Go to Dream History
Click "Dream History" from the main menu
Select Dreams to Delete
Long press on the dream you want to delete
Confirm Deletion
Press the "Delete" button and confirm
Delete Profile Data
Go to Profile Settings
Click on your profile photo in the top right corner
Privacy and Security
Go to "Privacy and Security" section
Data Management
Click "Manage My Data" option
Bulk Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at once using the "Bulk Data Deletion" feature:
4. Account Deletion Process
If you want to delete your account completely, you can follow the steps below. This action is irreversible!
Warning: Irreversible Action
After deleting your account, all your data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. We recommend downloading important data before this action.

1. Data Download (Optional)
If you want to download your data before deleting your account, use the "Download My Data" option.
2. Initiate Deletion Request
Start your account deletion request from within the app or via email.
3. Email Confirmation
A confirmation link is sent to your registered email. You need to click this link to confirm.
4. Waiting Period
After confirmation, a 7-day waiting period begins. You can cancel the process during this time.
5. Permanent Deletion
After 7 days, your account and all data will be permanently deleted.

If you change your mind within 7 days after starting the account deletion process, you can cancel:

7. Irreversible Actions and Warnings

Final Warning
Data deletion is absolutely irreversible! Before performing this action:
